VIP-rooms

I have been going to VIP rooms for nearly 4 years and cannot fault the service offered by their team of hair & beauty gurus. As a regular customer the team know my preferences and what style/treatment works for me, and take a real interest in me and my beauty needs. Vicki cuts and colours my hair and I relish my regular appointments with her, whilst Zahra and the other beauty girls are experts at providing a wonderful, soothing and relaxing experience whilst also dealing with the day-to-day beauty practicalities efficiently and thoroughly. The little touches & a service ethic are all in evidence at VIP and I'd recommend trying out this salon to anyone.

I was recommended to go to VIP Rooms formy hair as I have spent some time abroad in a hot Country and coming back to the UK climate took its toll on my hair. I have African Caribbean hair so climate really does make a difference to its condition. Vicky was my stylist and she was able to give me excellent advice on the extensive conditioning care I had to apply to my hair and the colour and style she gave me was simply fabulous. I felt like a new woman and my confidence was sky high when i bounced out of the salon. I would strongly and highly recommend the VIP Room service to everyone - man and woman alike. Oh, I also got my eyebrows styled by Zhara, who applied the threading treatment - brilliant! and she gave me a quick eyebrow tint as well (something I never had before) and oh, what a difference. It's funny, I have read two of the other three reviews on this site and that simply tells me those women need to stick to the 'back of yard' places they are clearly more used to visiting. VIP Rooms is for those who know what they want and don't mind paying for the right service, the best treatment, the right advice and receiving all of this in lovely surrounds. It works for me - WELL DONE to the VIP Rooms team - an excellent service

I went to the VIP Rooms a few weeks ago and paid for a cut and highlights, total - �190. I wanted to pay a bit more than I usually do as I was after a special cut and finish. I honestly had the worst cut I have ever had, it was so lop-sided. I went back to have the layers evened out and asked why it looked so bad only to be told I didnt leave my conditioner on long enough when I washed it! (obviously 3 mins wasnt long enough). The service was awful. Very overpriced experience!

the vip rooms in clapham were great, i visited them today for my 1st waxing. they made the whole visit a pleasure. very professional friendly and welcoming. the staff all seemed very happy to be working there and were keen to make it pleasurable. well done team vip rooms

I thought i would give this place a go...I think they over-rate themselves a little. The haircut was overpriced and I was told by the hairdresser that you couldn't do much with my hair. I am sorry but if I am paying you 40 quid you could at least give me the illusion that you can do something with it. Then I rang up one morning to cancel an appointment for that evening as I had a personal emergency, the lady promptly told me they need 24hrs notice and when I told her it was a personal emergency she just sighed and said 'yeah but we need 24hrs'....sorry loves but your just a hairdresser and I don't appreciate being made to feel bad for cancelling when I have more important things in my life. There are plenty more reasonably priced places in clapham without the front door pretences.
